If you think I’m lucky, you’re 💯 correct. Congrats. Some may think “lucky b**ch yuk yuk yuk.” I get it. For those aiming high, read on. Am I lucky or am I good? Think about it. Seriously, you need to read this if you are ready for a good week! I’ve got a ton on my plate right now, and I’ve never been more excited. Why? Because when my back is against the wall, I know there is only one answer. Take massive action. I will not quit. I will not lose. Winners only around here. Last week was a tough one. My workload doubled overnight. It was a decision I had to make. Change management is real. If there’s one thing I can tell you, it’s that the single constant in business is change! It’s change! Stress came over me like a massive storm cloud came out of nowhere. When my closest teammates and family ask if I’m stressed, the simple answer is yes. For sure. But the more important answer is, I don’t feel the anxiety. It’s stress because it’s just a bunch of fun work that needs to be done. But I’m not worried about it! I thrive under pressure. It’s the greatest feeling in the world. What better feeling than to know the ball is in your corner and all you’ve got to do is drain that three pointer you been practicing all year! I even wrote a list! I never write lists. Line up the goals, order them by priority, and just start knocking them off the list. The reason I do what I do, my why. When people ask me why real estate, or why did you leave corporate America... this picture right here is why. Taking my son Ashton to the Duquesne basketball last week was a great father son night together. He loved it! But, if I still worked in corporate America, the long hours and nights I put into work, I wouldn't have been able to spend this one-on-one time with my son.
